Advanced Bottle to Bottle
business operations
While waste PET bottles have been reused as raw materials for packaging and textiles, most have not been remade into new PET bottles. We have responded by commercializing a horizontal PET bottle recycling model we call “Bottle to Bottle.” In this way, we contribute to the realization of a more recycling-oriented society by expanding the possibilities of recycling.
Bottle to Bottle: supply chain and scale of operation
Our parent company, Far Eastern New Century, is a company close to people's lives, supplying raw materials for more than 30% of PET bottles used in Japan.
As a main supplier of PET bottle raw materials, we believe it is our responsibility to operate a PET bottle recycling plant in Japan.
Aiming for a 100% waste PET bottle collection rate
The Far Eastern New Century Group considers the establishment and promotion of a recycling-oriented society to be its corporate mission, and is making Group-wide efforts to reduce the use of petroleum resources and CO2 emissions.
By 2030, we will recycle 100% of the PET resin sold by the Far Eastern New Century Group in Japan, and turn it back into recycled PET resin suitable for use in food-grade products, thereby helping to eliminate new petroleum consumption and to promote domestic recycling.
