The Tonegawa Fireworks Display is the main event of the Sakai Furusato Festival held every July.
Once a small fireworks display, it has grown to nationwide renown due to growing momentum behind efforts to invigorate the local community.
We continue to cosponsor the event in order to support its expansion of scale, and to enliven the local community of Sakaimachi.
In 2020, the fireworks display had to be canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so we donated our sponsorship funds to Sakaimachi so that it could be used for COVID-19 countermeasures.

Since we store large quantities of waste PET bottles, which are combustible materials, we take appropriate advice from the fire department as we work to ensure safe storage.
Our ongoing donation efforts to benefit our firefighters include such items as dumbbells, air purifiers and light trucks.

We believe that recycling requires a commitment by each individual.
We therefore welcome plant tours by elementary school students to enable children, who represent the next generation, to see recycling where it happens, and become as interested in recycling as possible.
With so few Bottle-to-Bottle recycling plants in Japan, children who visited the plant said they were surprised at the large scale of the facility, and the pure white color of the finished resin.
